We bought this compact dining table at auction as we were drawn to it by it's shape, despite the fact that it needed a complete 'face lift' :-) we saw its potential. Being both functional and pleasing we believe it would make a welcome addition to many homes...x  This is a vintage, rustic, restyled, pine dining table which seats up to 4. We like to source pleasing and functional pieces of furniture.The top is solid pine 4.5cm deep. It has been sanded back to pale pine then a white wax varnish has been applied to give a sea salt washed coastal look.The base has been prepared then painted in Pale Cream and varnished with a whiteish matt wax varnish for light, airy look.Equally happy in both traditional and contemporary settings, we love this versatile, compact table. The pedestal can be painted in Duck egg blue, Port Royal (mid to dark blue), White or Country Cream.Team it with modern or rustic chairs, all the same design or mix and match.We like to reuse, revive and restyle vintage pieces that are well made and have lots of life still in them, they all have a story to tell and you can add to the tale.
